Mechanism of enzyme action




■ The substrate makes contact with the active site. ■ A change in the shape of the enzyme occurs resulting in the transformation of the substrate. ■ A substrate may undergo decomposition, have its atoms rearranged, or two substrates may be synthesized. ■ The products of the reaction are released from the active site and move away. The enzyme resumes its original shape, ready for another substrate. ■ The enzyme is not affected, other than the temporary alteration of its shape. Enzymatic breakdown of ATP -ATPases and energy use ■ ATP molecules store energy for use by the cell. ■ Usable energy is in the bond holding the third phosphate. ■ This high-energy bond is formed during cellular respiration. ■ The release of energy from ATP is controlled by enzymes called ATPases. ■ ATPases use energy from ATP in very specific ways. آلية عمل الأنزيم ؟؟ يعمل الأنزيم على تقليل طاقة التنشيط اللازمة لبدء التفاعل بحيث يحدث عند درجة حرارة الخلية . طاقة تنشيط التفاعل : الحد الأدنى من الطاقة اللازمة لبدء التفاعل . كيف يقلل الانزيم طاقة تنشيط التفاعل ؟ يقلل الأنزيم طاقة تنشيط التفاعل بواسطة ارتباطه بالمواد المتفاعلة عند الموقع النشط للإنزيم وهذا الارتباط يقرب بين المواد المتفاعلة ، وتحدث التفاعلات بينها .
